The Big Bend Fine Art Auction takes its name from the sweeping bend of the Yellowstone River that has long shaped the landscape, history, and identity of our region.

 

As the Yellowstone River flows north from its headwaters in Yellowstone National Park, it changes direction at the crossroads of Livingston, Montana, beginning the eastward journey that eventually carries it to the Missouri River. This defining bend has long served as a place of movement, gathering, and connection.

The name Big Bend honors the landscapes, stories, and creative traditions that continue to define Park County and the New West.
